Back in 2001, Les G. Littlefair began stocking wood stain products in his Darwen based bric-a-brac shop and soon noticed how well the products sold. As a joiner with an eye for perfection, he believed he could create an even better product that could enhance any untreated wood. After months of perfecting a product that was easy to use, environmentally friendly and beautiful to look at, Les began selling his first range. It wasn’t long until the success of his products enabled him to leave the bric-a-brac trade and concentrate on cultivating his own brand. Based in Blackburn these days, Littlefair’s are multi award winning manufacturers of water-based wood dyes, varnishes, finishing oils and wax polishes. Littlefair's were delighted recently to land the 2021 Distinction Award for Customer Service Excellence, awarded by SME News, as their values centre around providing the finest quality products and great customer service. They possess a passion for British craftmanship which flows through the whole organisation, from the manufacturers and packers to the customer service team.
